Our client, a quiet and entrepreneurial leader in the commercial real estate re-development and asset ownership arena is looking for an exceptional team member who will partner with their Property Managers and Accounting Department, overseeing the administrative/accounting efforts attached to their large portfolio. As the Senior Property Management Administrator – PMA (Edmonton, AB) you will have the opportunity to work with a highly knowledgeable team, promoting your capacity for adding value to the operation by demonstrating your resourcefulness, flexibility, intellect and high attention for detail. Your exposure to property management as a PMA has you ready to ascend into a more senior PMA position. You enjoy fast paced environments and working with a high functioning team beyond that of tenants, contractors and vendors. You are regaled for your strong accounting acumen and capacity to prioritize, work in tight timelines, and focus on a variety of tasks, demonstrating your commitment and ability to deliver high level results.
You enjoy a range of responsibilities, including preparing, processing and paying of P.O.s, day-to-day management of accounts payable issues and supplier invoices, following up on the collection of rent, liaising with Property Managers and Accountants for expense related issues and generally assisting in the financial operations of the portfolios. Having a penchant for creating better systems, processes and procedures will aid in your success in this new job.
Your exceptional communication dexterity, self-motivation and exposure to property management in commercial real estate, provides you with a strong foundation for this position. Post-secondary education, certifications, RPA designations (or working towards), along with experience with Yardi, will elevate you in this process.
