Our client, a strategic developer, owner and partner in the Canadian Commercial Real Estate arena, is in search of an intermediate property management leader to oversee a high value office/retail based portfolio. Having earned a reputation for operating with in-depth bench strength, sophistication and tenant-centric services, they are excited to add a like-minded professional to their high functioning and savvy team. As their new Intermediate Property Manager, (Edmonton, AB), you will play a critical role, in creating superior tenant satisfaction by applying a 5 star hospitality approach that will result in the operational excellence of your portfolio. Receiving support and reporting to the Director, Property Management, you will lean heavily on your property management intelligence, capacity to lead a small, well functioning and diverse team, self-reliance and developed interpersonal skills. Beyond your capability to add depth and sophistication to the current operation, your aptitude for effective communication and dexterity for developing authentic and transparent relationships, with tenants, teams, peers and the leadership team, is key to your success.

Your proven track record for successfully managing a significant higher value portfolio and strategically leading a multi-disciplinary team for 5 years, including budget management, tenant communication, gold standard property programming and events, executing capital expenditures, tenant improvements and preventative maintenance projects, will give you a leg up in attaining this position. A strong understanding of accounting principles, including use of Yardi Voyager, as they relate to property management is also key to being successful in this role. A post-secondary education and/or specific CRE/Property Management designations (CRM), including a current Real Estate Licence, will aid in your capacity to attain this position.
