Our client, a dynamic and privately owned commercial and multi-family real estate owner/developer, is ready to offer you the exciting position of Executive Assistant to the Executive Office (Edmonton, Alberta). You have been exposed to a variety of detailed administrative and executive office functions in the commercial and/or multi-family real estate industry, promoting your astute capacity for understanding the industry’s complexities. You like technology and are good user of new hardware and software, including considering yourself to be an above average user of all Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint and Excel) along with other web-based applications like Canva and AI platforms. You are creative and innovative in your approaches, appreciating a fast-paced environment where reprioritizing is usual occurrence . You are an acquirer, gatekeeper and depositor of information and, quite frankly, you can keep things moving in the right direction when any of your Executives are away from the office. As such, you are seen as an integral part of the company.
Past Executives have recognized your talent for being able to deliver “customized” outcomes, applying your talent for intuitively reading people and getting to know their behaviours and quirks. This has allowed you to maneuver well with Executive Leaders in regards to scheduling, critical timelines, communications, projects, communications, travel requirements, and the like. You believe in absolute quality and you have a knack for creating that “WOW” factor when it’s really needed. The challenge of “making people happy” appeals to you; albeit, you like being behind the scenes dealing with the logistics, predicting needs and generally getting ahead and planning for any problems that might arise.
In terms of leadership fit, you like reporting to transparent and kind leaders who are open to hearing and providing feedback. You like creating a partnership with the Executives you work with, seeing yourself as an extended arm to their role. You don’t need to be coddled nor do you desire micro-management. Your past experience, emotional intelligence, practical and logical approach to tackling tasks and eye for detail have all added to your ability to be successful and purposeful in this position.
Your successful exposure in a similar real estate role, exceptional written and oral communication dexterity and self-motivation provide you with a strong foundation for this position. Interested?
