COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE OPERATIONS ACCOUNTANT – No Longer Available

Our client, a quiet and growing commercial real estate owner and developer, is in search of a motivated Operations Accountant (Edmonton, Alberta).  Reporting to an incredibly supportive and an exemplary Vice President, Finance, you will be empowered to manage functions related to property and asset management, land and construction/development, including full cycle accounting, monthly reporting, construction cost reporting, reconciliation, annual preparations, analysis, disbursements, cashflow and budget variance reporting. This organization boasts a small team of personable, incredibly energetic and self-motivated employees who demonstrate a high degree of commitment and bench strengths that add depth to the overall operations success.

Your accounting exposure in the commercial real estate arena or project based accounting experience in construction or relate industry, along with a  post-secondary education in accounting, will aid in your success in attaining this career expanding role. If you have a desire to work towards your CPA designation or attain other related education , this company will support you in doing so.   Your proven ability to manage detail and work with and/or learn new accounting software (YARDI Voyager) and Microsoft Office (with a high ability to maneuver in Excel) will also be of great benefit.
