ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – On Pause

Our client, one of Canada’s most dynamic company’s to watch, is experiencing significant growth and is introducing the new position of Administration Manager (Edmonton/ Leduc County, Alberta) to their team. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team, you will lean on your wide ranging administration talents to positively affect the daily work flow, enhancing processes and systems that will assist in responding to current demands and future growth. THE OPPORTUNITY   |   This mid-level role will require you to be part of building out your job description, filling in on several internal company gaps. The Administration Manager position is complexed and requires a multi-facetted and agile professional who can act as a hub in the daily efforts and growth of the company. You will partner with the leadership team and apply your hands-on prowess to manage several administration and operations functions related to projects, tech, hr, communications, finance, proposals, legal/contracts, process and policy development, office management and more. Sharing in the company’s passion for creating credible nature-base carbon removal projects is key to your elevating with the company’s culture. Your success in this role will establish and offer you elevated opportunities as the company continues to grow.

YOUR TALENT  | You offer an exposure and nimble skill set that will allow you to lead, execute and effectively manage the many areas involved with this role. As such, you could be described as a unicorn of sorts – a professional who is good at a lot of things – one who is highly resourceful, curious, self-motivated and possesses a keen eye for detail. You have created solid success patterns in your career thus far and are driven by behaving-out your purpose. Current and former colleagues have regaled you for your exemplary communication skills along with your ability to manage a lot of minutia well. You possess the ability to self-direct, lead and take charge, creating order out of chaos. You are a forward thinker and understand how to manage risk while bringing recommendations to the table. Although this position requires you to often communicate and liaise with the CEO and leadership team, there are going to be several times that you will be working solely to coordinate and complete several time-sensitive matters.

REQUIREMENTS | The ideal candidate for this role is passionate, self-aware and intelligent. Having a post secondary education (business or related) along with a wide exposure to business infrastructure areas like tech, hr, communications, accounting and finance, proposals, marketing, legal/contracts, compliance, process and policy development and administration would be ideal. We get it – it’s a lot; however, your need for challenge, matched with you either knowing enough or not being scared to tackle new learning, will be the key your your success. This position offers the opportunity for both hybrid work and a flexible schedule. Please note that the location of the company resides on EIA lands in Leduc County.
