Our client, a long standing and reputable industrial Alberta based company with global reach, is in search of hands-on and strategic Manufacturing Manager (Edmonton, Alberta). RESPONSIBILITES Your responsibilities encompass the full leadership of the manufacturing/production departments. You possess bench strengths for implementing quality, safety and production planning. Your excellent time management skills and capacity to link in with the sales and supply chain departments has elevated your ability to meet production schedules effectively. Having both hands-on technical and leadership experience provides you with a unique set of skills that have allowed you to maneuver well in developing and managing budgets, identifying challenges and optimizing production. You are a stickler for on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Your communication style lends itself well within the production group ensuring everyone is in the e same page with production goals. You recognize that you have had exceptional mentors in your career and you are committed to ensuring that you are coaching and elevating the supervisory/staff you oversee, aiding in their development and building succession in your department.
REQUIREMENTS Possessing a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment along with having a Technical Degree or Diploma, Trade, and/or Certifications in Quality or process related methodologies (Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma, ISO9001, COR, TQM, Visual Workplace) is required. Your written and oral communication dexterity, advanced level Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook Excel and Project) and your ability to influence others will set you apart in this job competition.
COMPENSATION An excellent six figure comprehensive compensation package awaits the right candidate, including an RRSP match, health spending account, bonus and other perks. Please note that due to various locations, some inter and cross provincial travel (10%) may be required.
